The race starts and finishes on Frenchman Bay Road adjacent to Frenchy’s Restaurant and Tea Rooms near Woolstores Place, Mount Elphinstone.Riders proceed south on Frenchman Bay Road for 18 kilometres until the end of the road at Frenchman Bay. There is a turning loop on the road where the carpark is located. The loop positions the riders for the hard slog back up the long climb on Frenchman Bay Road prior to reaching the fast downhill sections into Little Grove and in preparation for the sprint to come at the finish line 7 kilometres away at Frenchy’s.
