*ACC 2024 Race Series #6: Redmond Gravel Handicap

2pm Start: On Hunwick Rd near the corner of Hennings Rd
This Saturday June 22, 2024, We make a winter solstice bee-line to the beautiful GRAVEL roads of Redmond West, for Event #6 in the ACC 2024 Terry White Chemmart Chester Pass Race Series, the REDMOND GRAVEL HANDICAP WA’s only gravel handicap race.
Starting on Hunwick Rd near the corner of Hennings Rd, racers will complete an anti-clockwise loop via Hunwick Rd-Norton Rd-Redmond West Rd-Hunwick Rd. Total race distance 41 KM with an elevation gain of 389 metres; a shorter 29 KM non race distance is also available.
Expect spectacular vistas of pastoral land, native bush and plantations. But don’t expect to see many, if any, motor vehicles.

The race is handicap format so you’ll start with similar strength riders and see if you can stay ahead of the riders starting behind you and the scratch group.
Our handicapper will also take into account what sort of bike you are riding, so let us know at registration.
As always, visitors, first-timers and those returning to cycling are VERY welcome.
