WOW! What an amazing ACC Mt Clarence-Corndarup HILL CLIMB CHAMPIONSHIP 2024 this afternoon. The skies cleared, the wind subsided and a healthy field of 13 starters changed into their small chainring and ditched their bidons. Vince Bascombe put aside his ATAR studies for long enough to ride a scintillating fastest time of 6:20, defeating defending champ Brett Dal Pozzo by a slender 2 seconds. 13 seconds back was visiting rider, Callum Millard-Webb, completing the podium. Fastest female was Liz Cooper. Many thanks to our team of volunteers who ensured the event was safe and well organised. |
