FUNDING GRANT FROM ALBANY COMMUNITY BANK TO IMPROVE FIRST AID RESPONSE FOR ALBANY CYCLE CLUB
Thanks to generous funding support for The Albany Community Bank Albany Cycling Club has been able to purchase a new fully loaded back-pack first aid kit and send two committee members for first aid training
Club Secretary Liz Cooper and Committee member Keith Symes recently completed their First Aid courses and now join Lucy Wellstead as qualified first aiders. Liz said the new back-pack first aid kit purchased from St John Ambulance who also provided the training will be a fantastic addition to the club’s resources and enable prompt responses when needed to riders, volunteers and members of the public as well.
Keith said “It is important to have qualified first aiders and a good first aid kit on race days to respond quickly in the case of emergencies. The support of The Albany Community Bank is greatly appreciated.”
